Week 15

Hello families!

We had an incredible week of holiday fun! We read lots of holiday books including Is It Hanukkah Yet? by Chris Barash, Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett and Clifford’s Christmas by Norman Bridwell. We were very busy at the art table making special snow globes, marble painting menorahs and decorating paper Christmas trees with lots of beautiful ornaments. 

The sensory table was filled with styrofoam packing noodles and winter animals. The sand table had all sorts of icy gems, cotton ball snow, buckets and tubes for exploring. Our friends were busy racing trains all around the tracks in the block area and dining on sushi in dramatic play.

We enjoyed a very fun dress rehearsal of the Pre K/TK winter performance. And of course the highlight of our week was the gingerbread cookie decorating party!! We were thrilled to have so many special adults join us and the children did an amazing job with their decorating! Thank you so much to all of you that joined us and donated supplies!
