This past week we finished up our Winter Wonderland/Arctic Study. We had a lot of fun with penguins, seals, and whales. The children all enjoyed using the felt board to put buttons and a hat on our little snowman. We loved singing the song together and pretending to “melt into a puddle” at the end.

The children did a great job painting with cotton balls. We will do a lot more cotton ball painting during our Color Study which will begin when we return from February vacation.

Next week we will talk about Friendship, Hearts and Love. We will be decorating bags, delivering valentines and doing some heart art. If you would like to send valentines to share with the class please feel free! We only ask that they be signed but not addressed. (We have 9 children in each class).

The 3 day class enjoyed singing with Miss Elaine on Thursday.

Our volunteer helper Miss Lori will be out next week and we are so lucky to have Miss Nettie from the two day class step in and help us every day next week. The three day class was able to  meet her on Thursday and of course she is well known to our two day kiddos. We are really looking forward to a fun week together.
