Jan graduated from the University of Richmond with a BA in Economics as well as Mary Baldwin University with a MA in Teaching. She and her husband of 35 years moved to Wellesley in 2023 from Richmond, Virginia where, over the past 20 plus years, she has enjoyed a
career teaching Pre-K, Kindergarten and First Grade, as well as leading two different church preschools.
Jan has three adult children and while she is not at school, she likes traveling to see her children, reading, walking daily, and watching live sports. Jan loves teaching young children. She embraces the power of learning through play and is excited to be a part of WNSH.
