Raquel is a Graduate of University of Massachusetts Boston, where she received a Masters of Education in Learning, Teaching, and Educational Transformation. She also holds a graduate certificate in Applied Behavioral Analysis, a B.S. in Elementary Education, and an A.S. in Physical Therapy. Raquel has taught in a variety of public schools and private preschool settings, and is very active in the special needs advocacy community.

When not teaching, she enjoys cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family. Raquel and her husband Scott live in Sudbury where they raise 2 boys, an adult son with special needs, and a daughter completing her undergraduate in Psychology & Biology at University of Massachusetts.
